Giant stained glass window unveiled at St. Pancras
A giant stained glass window has been unveiled at St Pancras International station in London.
The work by David Batchelor is the latest commission to be designed for the station. Batchelor has named the 20m x 10m work Chromolocomotion,
Terrace Wires is a rotational art space. The objective is to encourage travellers to look up and find a break in their busy day for some reflection. The brief for artists who compete to fill the space is that they must be inspired by the station.
David Batchelor invited BBC News into his studio at the beginning of the design process and explained his inspiration for the work.
