Michael Howard: Paxman grilling 'not my finest hour'
Newsnight presenter Jeremy Paxman is to leave the BBC Two programme after 25 years.
One of his most memorable interviewees, Michael Howard, said Paxman would be "missed," but being interviewed by him was "not the most enjoyable experience."
In Paxman's infamous interview with Howard, the presenter asked the then home secretary relentlessly about a meeting he had had with prisons chief Derek Lewis about the possible dismissal of the head of Parkhurst Prison.
Howard told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "It wasn't my finest hour, obviously."
