Kate Bush comeback: Gemma Arterton and Anna Calvi review London show
Singer Kate Bush was greeted with huge cheers at London's Hammersmith Apollo, as she took to the stage for the first time in 35 years.
Backed by seven musicians, Bush opened with Lily from the 1993 album Red Shoes. She was joined later by her teenage son Bertie and told the audience he had given her the "courage" to return to the stage.
The west London venue was the scene of her last live appearance in 1979.
Celebrity reviewers - actress Gemma Arterton and musician Anna Calvi - shared their thoughts on Bush's performance with BBC Newsnight.
