George Clooney marries Amal Alamuddin in Venice

George Clooney's representative has announced the actor has married human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy.

Clooney waved to people on shore as he travelled along the canal on a water taxi. There will be a civil ceremony on Monday.
