David Hockney documentary gets northern premiere

David Hockney is considered by many to be one of the country's most influential artists.

Born in Bradford in 1937, his paintings and photographs have been admired by generations of art lovers throughout the world.

Now a new documentary about his life is getting its northern premiere in his home city.

The film provides a fascinating insight into the career of one of Britain's most acclaimed artists.
