Turner was an 'enigmatic contradiction' says Spall
The film Mr Turner, directed by Mike Leigh, portrays the life and work of famous artist JMW Turner.
Actor Timothy Spall plays Turner and won Best Actor for his performance at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival awards.
In an interview with the BBC's Andrew Marr, Spall talks about playing Turner and how he was given painting lessons during the making of the film.
