'I know Broadchurch ending - but I'm not telling'

The actor who plays Reverend Paul Coates in ITV's Broadchurch, has told BBC Radio 5 Live he knows the crime drama's ending - but cannot spill the beans.

The much-anticipated return of Broadchurch was seen by a peak audience of eight million viewers, according to overnight figures.

In an unusual move, ITV did not release any previews of the first episode of the new series to stop leaks about the new storyline.

Actor Arthur Darvill said he knew the ending of the crime drama - but would not give it away.
