Golden Globes: The highlights

Eddie Redmayne has been named best actor at the Golden Globes for his portrayal of a young Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

There were wins for two other British actors; Joanne Froggatt for her role in Downton Abbey, and Ruth Wilson for US TV series The Affair.

The big success of the night was the coming-of-age film Boyhood, which topped three categories - including best director.
