Nigel Havers: Anne Kirkbride 'a lovely person to work with'

Friends and colleagues of the actress Anne Kirkbride, known to millions as Deirdre from Coronation Street, have been speaking of their shock and sadness at her death.

She was 60, and had suffered a short illness. Her friend, and fellow actor, Nigel Havers performed alongside her in the show.

He told BBC Breakfast that she was a pleasure to work with.
