Lessons for life in Learning to Drive

Sir Ben Kinglsey is starring in a new film, playing a New York driving instructor who strikes up a close relationship with one of his pupils - a Manhattan literary critic who has recently been abandoned by her husband.

The film attempts to show that applying the lessons learned while becoming a responsible driver will stand you in good stead for leading a constructive life.

It is a film that also deals with friendship, cultural difference and discrimination and it has been drawing some good reviews as Talking Movies' Tom Brook reports.
