Geena Davis: 'Women are second-class citizens in film'

Twenty-five years after she starred in the ground breaking film Thelma and Louise, the actress Geena Davis is on a mission to fix gender inequality in Hollywood.

Research done by the team at her Institute on Gender in the Media found that the ratio of female characters in films is 3-1, the same as it was in 1946.

Lucy Hockings spoke to her at the London Film Festival.
