Peter Capaldi: 'Doctor Who is on too late'

Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi has told the BBC that he thinks that people are "obsessed" with overnight ratings which do not reflect how people watch TV any more.

But he told Lizo Mzimba that he thinks the show is currently being aired too late in the evening and would do better in an earlier timeslot.

He was also asked whether there would be fewer episodes next year.
