Oscars 2016: Writer Nick Hornby on Brooklyn nominations

The film Brooklyn has been nominated for an Oscar for best adapted screenplay, an adaptation of Colm Tóibín's novel of the same name.

Actress Saoirse Ronan also received a nomination in the best actress category.

Writer Nick Hornby told film critic Jason Solomons and the BBC's Jane Hill that he was "delighted for the film" and "so proud of Saoirse".
