JK Rowling: 'Special and unique' book up for auction

A handwritten and illustrated book by the Harry Potter author JK Rowling is being auctioned.

The copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard is one of only seven produced by the writer.

It contains a personal inscription to her editor, Barry Cunningham, who famously accepted the first Harry Potter book for publication.
