Hans Zimmer: ‘I can adapt, but I don’t want to’
Hans Zimmer is Hollywood's go-to composer for blockbusters. He has written the soundtracks for films like Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator and Top Gun: Maverick.
But after a 40-year career writing for the big screen, he tells Newsnight's Kirsty Wark how smaller screens are affecting his music.
His new album Hans Zimmer Live is released on 3 March, while he is set to play London's O2 Arena on 14 and 15 June, and Manchester Arena on 16 June.
