Some areas of the the UK are running low on flu vaccine, the Prime Minister has confirmed.

David Cameron said national stocks of vaccine left over from the flu pandemic of 2009 could be used to help bolster stocks.

He said the Department of Health was urgently looking to see if the stocks would be suitable.
