NHS shake-up 'risks lessening patient power'
Eight leading health charities are warning that the government's NHS reforms could mean that patients end up with less say over services in their local area.
The government's planning to give GPs control over much of the Health Service budget in England.
But in a letter to the Times, eight charities representing millions of patients and relatives, say there needs to be more public accountability.
