Dr Clare Gerada: NHS reform bill is 'a mess'

The Royal College of GPs has called for the government to scrap its planned changes to the NHS in England, which would give family doctors more control over their budgets.

Ministers have insisted that changes made to the bill so far meet concerns raised by health professionals.

However, chair of the Royal College of GPs, Dr Clare Gerada, has said she still believes the health bill is ''a mess'' and will damage the NHS.
