Disabled people 'missing out on basic needs' in social care

The BBC has learned that there has been a rise of nearly 70% in the number of people with disabilities seeking help from Citizens Advice Bureaux.

The figures come as leading charities claim there's a £1.2bn funding hole in the budget for social care for people with disabilities living in England.

They also claim that more than a third of people with disabilities in England aren't getting enough support with their basic needs like washing, dressing or eating.

Sophie Hutchinson reports.
