Leeds hospital heart surgery suspension 'very odd' says MP

An MP has questioned the decision to suspend children's congenital heart surgery at a hospital in Leeds.

Young patients who were due for cardiac treatment at Leeds General Infirmary will be sent elsewhere in England while care at the hospital is reviewed.

Describing the decision as "very odd", Stuart Andrew, Conservative MP for Pudsey, says "there are many questions which need answering".
