Organ donation 'comfort' after losing daughter in accident

The number of people donating organs after death has risen by 50% since 2008.

More than 1,200 people in the UK donated their organs in the last 12 months, leading to around 3,100 transplants.

The organs of Leah Davies, who died aged 19 last August following a motorbike accident, were donated with consent of the family. Her father Andrew said it was a comfort to know she had helped other people.
