Secondhand smoke still seriously affecting children

More than 800 children visit their doctor every day due to the serious effects of secondhand smoke, according to research published by the Royal College of Physicians.

It comes as the government launches a campaign to increase awareness of the dangers of smoking in homes and cars.

Professor Kevin Fenton is the Director of Health and Wellbeing at Public Health England and told BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast that "there may be a role for a legislative fix" after the success of banning smoking in public places.
