'Air pollution affects my heart condition'

More should be done to clean up air pollution and reduce the impact on people with weak hearts, a study has claimed.

The report, funded by the British Heart Foundation and published in The Lancet, said pollution is harming - and in some cases killing - people with weak hearts.

It also found that many UK cities often exceed safe levels set by the European Union.

Joanne Ward, a heart failure patient and ambassador for the British Heart Foundation, spoke about her case.
