NHS facing significant challenges, says Nicholson

The body that runs the NHS in England says the organisation is £30 billion short of the funding it needs to cover its costs.

This is on top of the £20 billion NHS Trusts have already been asked to save.

NHS England says the organisation needs fundamental change to meet rising demand.
