Will the Keogh review make hospitals safer?

Fourteen NHS trusts in England have been investigated as part of a review into higher-than-expected hospital death rates. The inquiry, carried out by Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, England's NHS medical director, was set up following the Mid-Staffordshire Hospital scandal.

But Newsnight's Susan Watts finds that issues that ought to be about quality and safety of patient care have descended into political point scoring.
