A&E bailout 'short-term measure'

David Cameron has said that a £500m bailout to struggling A&E units is a "short term measure" to deal with the scale of problems in A&E.

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the prime minister rejected the idea that giving money to help cut delays at casualty wards where there have previously been problems risked rewarding failure.
