GP surgery failures: BMA warns against 'alarmism'

The British Medical Association has urged people "not to be alarmist" after inspectors exposed a catalogue of failings at some GP practices in England.

Dr Chaand Nagpaul says the inspections took place at surgeries which already had reported concerns and that the results referred to the systems, rather than the quality of care.
