Anorexia: UK scientists research DNA link

Scientists in the UK are examining the DNA of people who have had anorexia in the hope that it will help them understand why some and not others struggle with the condition.

Many in the medical community have long suspected a link between genetics and eating disorders. One long-term objective would be to predict who might be at risk.

A woman from Neath, south Wales, who suffered from anorexia as a teenager explains how she has been helping with the study.

Leah Gooding reports.
