British nurse treated for Ebola in the UK

A Briton who contracted the Ebola virus while treating patients in Sierra Leone has been hailed there as "a hero".

William Pooley, a 29-year-old volunteer nurse, is being treated by doctors at a hospital in north-west London.

He was flown to RAF Northolt in a specially-equipped military aircraft on Sunday and taken to Hampstead's Royal Free Hospital.

Branwen Jeffreys reports.
