Heathrow Airport to begin Ebola screening

Ebola screening will begin on Tuesday at Heathrow Airport in London, and will be extended to Gatwick and Eurostar terminals by next week.

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said the screening should reach nearly 90% of people arriving from the worst-affected countries.

Four thousand people have died from Ebola so far, mostly in Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia.

Branwen Jeffreys reports.
