Health Secretary welcomes 'positive' NHS report
Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has welcomed a "positive report" which says drastic changes are needed if the NHS in England is to avoid a £30bn annual shortfall by 2020.
The five-year-plan from six national bodies says that even with changes, such as GP practices offering hospital services, there would still be a gap of £8bn a year.
However, Mr Hunt told BBC Breakfast that this extra funding would by covered by government efficiencies elsewhere.
