Report calls for improvement in the care of the elderly

A new report says more needs to be done to improve care for the elderly in England, with more than two million people over the age of 65 struggling to complete daily tasks like dressing and cooking.

The findings from the charity Independent Age and the think tank the Strategic Society, suggest there are alarming gaps in care with a significant number of people not getting the help they need.
