World Aids Day: Pakistani patient on living with the condition

The number of people living with HIV/Aids in Pakistan is estimated to be 80-100,000 - but it remains a taboo subject and reliable screening measures are limited.

The BBC's Shaimaa Khalil asked 27-year-old former heroin addict Shoaib, who contracted Aids after sharing needles with other users.

He told her about what it is like to live in a country where so much stigma is attached to the condition.
