Mum admits drinking bottles of wine whilst pregnant

A mother who drank up to two bottles of wine a day whilst pregnant believes she may have caused her son Foetal Alcohol Syndrome.

"Kathryn" said her second child's "poor concentration, bad language, poor social behaviour and poor eye contact" were a result of her drinking.

Speaking to Radio 5 live's Breakfast, she said, "I feel so guilty, day in, day out and I think, is that me that's done that to him?"

Her story comes after a judge ruled that drinking while pregnant was not a criminal offence.
