Chief medical officer: 'Many measures to protect public' from Ebola

England's chief medical officer has said the UK has "many measures to protect the public" from Ebola.

Dame Sally Davies' remarks come after criticism about screening measures at Heathrow.

Nurse Pauline Cafferkey was diagnosed with Ebola after returning to Glasgow, via Heathrow, from Sierra Leone.

Dr Martin Deahl, who travelled back on the same flight as Ms Cafferkey, described screening at Heathrow as "chaotic".
