Cancer doctors in Peru test portable treatment device
Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women around the world.
It kills over a quarter of a million women each year - especially in countries where screening and treatment are not easily available.
Now doctors in Peru are testing a portable device that can treat women at risk of cancer before the cancer develops.
Reporter Irene Caselli spoke to cancer patient Maritza Morales. Although Maritza was upset, she wants other women to know that the condition can be prevented by screening.
