Cancer patient: 'If I knew risks I'd have said no to HRT'

Women who undergo hormone replacement therapy are at an increased risk of getting ovarian cancer, according to a study published in the Lancet medical journal.

Analysis by the University of Oxford found there was one extra case for every 1,000 women receiving the treatment for five years.

Liz Arram, from Wimbledon is currently in remission for ovarian cancer. She was on HRT for five years.

She says that if she had "looked at those risks at the time I was making the initial decision, I would probably not have chosen to do it."
