Hang fire on peanut exposure, says food and intolerance specialist
Researchers say the chances of developing a peanut allergy can be reduced if babies are given peanut products.
Trials on 628 babies prone to developing peanut allergy found the risk was cut by over 80%.
Dr Aisha Awan, a GP and food intolerance specialist, told the BBC that the research was really significant, but that parents should "hang fire" before introducing them to peanuts.
