Women wanting a family should start trying for a baby by the time they turn 30 rather than delay it, a leading fertility doctor has suggested.

In a letter to Education Secretary Nicky Morgan, consultant gynaecologist Prof Geeta Nargund also called for fertility lessons to be included in the national curriculum.

She spoke to Joanna Gosling on the Victoria Derbyshire programme to explain why she was calling for the changes. They were joined to debate the issue by Clare Murphy from the British Pregnancy Advisory Service.
