Frozen eggs: US tech giants' perk to attract female talent

The news that Facebook helps its US female employees pay for the cost of freezing their eggs, while Apple is planning to introduce the policy in January, has drawn a mixed response.

The companies say they want to empower woman and see it as a way to recruit and retain top female talent to a male-dominated industry.
