Breast cancer patient: 'Only the scan could find the lump'

An international report says women who have regular breast scans could lower their risk of dying from the disease by as much as 40%.

The number of women attending screening in England has fallen over recent years.

Pauline Daniels was diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine mammogram.

She told the BBC her own experience meant she was always "banging on to women" about the importance of going for a mammogram, describing it as "uncomfortable but so important."
