Food poverty: 'I worry about feeding my son'

It is a hard but inescapable fact that in 21st century Britain there are still families that are going hungry.

A study for the left-leaning think tank, the Fabian Society, suggests the government has left it to charities and businesses to tackle the issue.

The government says that there are more people in work and that pay packets are rising.

One woman, Sarah Whitehead, told the BBC she struggles to feed her child.
