NHS Southern Health chief 'won't resign' over unexpected deaths
The chief executive of Southern Health has told BBC News that she will not be resigning over the Trust's failure to investigate the unexpected deaths of more than 1,000 people.
Katrina Percy criticised the report into the deaths, revealed by the BBC, that blamed a "failure of leadership".
Ms Percy said her job was to lead and to make sure "we have the right environment for doctors", adding "I'm continuing to do that for the moment".
In response, Julie O'Shaughnessy, the mother of a man who died while he was in the care of Southern Health, said Ms Percy should resign.
The BBC's social affairs correspondent Michael Buchanan reports.
