Three sisters fight breast cancer together

Within just 15 months Mary Lloyd and her two sisters, Sandra and Kerry were all diagnosed with breast cancer.

To gain an understanding of what made them susceptible to the condition they have joined a group that has signed up to a research project looking to map DNA for answers.

Scientists hope they will be able to work out why some people are more likely to contract certain diseases as well as improve treatments.
