Cancer drug 'helped me totally enjoy life'

A new cancer drug has been described as a potential "game changer", after promising results in the treatment of head and neck cancers.

Peter Waite took part in a trial of the immunotherapy drug nivolumab.

"I’ve got so much going on in my life and I’m able to totally enjoy all of it," he said.

In a trial of more than 350 patients, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, 36% treated with nivolumab were alive after one year compared with 17% who received chemotherapy.
