Cancer survivor: 'I was sacked for having lymphoma'

Almost a fifth of people diagnosed with cancer face discrimination from employers or colleagues on return to work, research by the charity Macmillan Cancer Support suggests.

Terry Foster, 58, from Southport, was sacked after being diagnosed for lymphoma, as his company felt he “wouldn't be able to handle the stress of the job”, he says.
