Could brain chips reverse paralysis?

An implant that beams instructions out of the brain has been used to restore movement in paralysed primates for the first time, say scientists.

Dr Andrew Jackson, from the Institute of Neuroscience, told the Today programme if the trends in other clinical research on primates are mirrored for this study, "we could see the first clinical applications of this technology" for humans within a decade.
