Covid: NHS jab rule no longer proportionate - Javid
The health secretary says he will launch a consultation on ending the legal requirement for front-line NHS staff in England to be vaccinated against Covid.
He said he believed it was no longer proportionate to require vaccination as a condition of deployment.
But he said it remained a "professional duty" for those working in health and social care to get vaccinated.
