Hurricane Sandy: Staten Island residents rebuild one year on
On October 29 last year, high winds and flooding from Hurricane Sandy caused massive destruction on the US east coast.
One of the hardest-hit places was New York's Staten Island. Twenty-three people were killed there, the most of any borough in the city.
The BBC's Laura Trevelyan travelled to the borough to check on the progress of the recovery effort.
