Aereo challenges future of television by broadcasting online
As television networks struggle to keep viewers watching in the digital age, one company is bringing television content directly to them online.
Aereo allows subscribers to watch live broadcasts and record television programmes on most devices for a low monthly fee.
Traditional television broadcasters are suing Aereo, saying the company is stealing their content. But CEO Chet Kanojia maintains the service is legal.
The US Supreme Court will hear the case next month, and the court's decision is likely to have wider implications for the future of television as we know it.
